POLAND AIR TERMINAL DESIGN COMPETITION
LPS AVIA was retained by a joint venture of Polish architectural and Polish/Canadian development
firms to provide airport, air terminal and groundside planning leadership to the team participating in an international design competition for the new Lublin Airport in east-central Poland.
The new airport will service the European Union as well as Russia, the Ukraine and a variety of eastern European countries.
The air terminal will support 1100 peak hour passengers in aircraft up to B767-300ER in size. The new air terminal planned by LPS AVIA also includes a rapid transit station, hotel and
other amenities. An airport development plan and ATC control tower and administration building are also included.
