GRAND CAYMAN BAGGAGE SCREENING SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT
LPS AVIA provided systems engineering support and management advice to the Cayman Civil Aviation Authority. Tasks included requirements analysis, equipment specification and tendering, bid analysis and selection advice, performance evaluation, and installation of Hold Baggage Screening systems.
Required to meet British CAA standards, the new systems also met the requirements of the United States FAA for the large number of daily trans-border flights operating between Grand Cayman and the mainland USA. LPS AVIA also provided Independent Validation and Verification Reviews of new HBS systems for the Canadian Air Transportation Security Administration (CATSA).
