BRUCE JONASSON, ASSOCIATE, AIR SERVICES

Mr. Jonasson brings 28 years of practical and hands-on experience in air carrier and airport management to LPS AVIA. Well known in the energy, natural resource and air cargo sectors, Mr. Jonasson provides strategic counsel and management advice for logistics planning, demand forecasting, air service assessments, air service bid and procurement, air operations supervision and quality control, aerodrome planning and development, equipment specification and procurement, airport and air carrier maintenance and operations. As a former regional airline executive, he has implemented the amalgamation of Canadian air carriers, including the merger of NWT AIR’s fleet of Boeing 737 and Hercules aircraft, with First Air’s western arctic Boeing 727, HS748 and DHC6 operations. Mr. Jonasson has served as President of Canadian aviation companies and as General Manager for fixed and rotary wing operations. He has developed new international routes and air cargo markets as well as air carrier operational start-ups. As an experienced Base Manager, he oversaw planning, GSE logistics support and provided onsite management of ground operations for the Airbus 380 Cold Weather Testing Program in the Canadian Arctic in 2006. Mr. Jonasson attended the Executive Program of Queen’s University School of Business and has been an approved Transport Canada Operations Manager and Aviation Safety Officer.
