ANDREW E. SIMMS M.Sc., M.Eng, PMP, SENIOR AVIATION PLANNER
Mr. Simms brings fixed and rotary wing field experience to LPS AVIA, as well as postgraduate
engineering management skills. This aviation experience is complemented by his knowledge gained working as a project manager in the
public works. Mr. Simms has served as a Technical Services Engineer for an international airline and has experience working with
Bombardier, Boeing and Airbus aircraft. His hands-on aviation experience includes operational and business development experience
in the helicopter transport industry. He has conducted studies on Sikorsky and Eurocopter helicopter operations, managed heliport
development, and participated in developing an aviation security program for airline/aerodrome operations. Mr. Simms has experience
with airline route operational analyses, airport development planning, and aircraft asset management. He has also conducted comparative
analysis of airport noise simulation/prediction programs for an international airport. He is a graduate of the University of Ottawa’s
Masters degree program in Engineering Management, and has knowledge of Systems Engineering and Integration, Reliability Safety and
Quality Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Project Management as well as Strategic Marketing Management. Mr Simms is a member
of the Project Management Institute and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
